New glasses, Girl Scouts, and Frenship football

Last week was ca-razy around here! We keep a calendar on the fridge, and there wasn't a blank space visible for last week. Every day was full with at least two or three things to do. This week has calmed down some though. Sarah got glasses for school and reading...she got really cute frames and looks adorable in them, I think! She also "flew up" from Brownies to Junior Girl Scouts on Monday. She's got her green sash and everything. Tim attached her first badges on and she's all set now. Nut sales are just a week or so away...we'll be in touch!

Drew has been busy with football and the church youth group. His football team is undefeated so far, with two more games to go! The pictures here are from Tuesday's game against Terra Vista, the other Frenship junior high. They were the toughest team we've played, so good news for the high school in a few years! This past Sunday, his youth group carved pumpkins and I forgot the camera because it was our Sunday to serve/cook the meal for the kids. We served I don't know how many gallons of chili with fritos, rice, cheese, etc. We had a little incident on the way home, when we discovered that one very large Ziploc bag of leftover chili had spilled all over the back of my mom's Suburban...all I can say is, it's a good thing for rubber floor mats!

I'm off to scrapbook retreat this weekend with 45 women. We're going to a guest ranch in Snyder. Will post pictures next week!
